General Construction services were provided for The Bulldog Club at MSU to build what is now the largest video scoreboard on a collegiate campus in the United States. We worked alongside the design team and MSU from conception through construction, overcoming some budget issues early on and staying ahead of a tight schedule. This project consisted of approximately 100 tons of structural steel. The foundation for the scoreboard sits on drilled pilings and pile caps that are approximately 12’ wide x 17’ long and 5’ deep. We had to add to construction a brand new electrical service to feed the new video board. All construction had to be complete 4 weeks prior to the 1st pitch on February 17 so the video component could be installed. We finished approximately 2 weeks ahead of schedule, giving MSU ample time to have the videoboard ready for the 1st pitch of the season.
